Even in a critical scenario, the consultancy's forecast is for growth in 2020. Focus is on centralizing offers at Safeway Security Tower
São Paulo, October 6, 2020 - Safeway, a consultancy specializing in Information Security, Risks and Cybersecurity, has just completed 13 years of experience in the Brazilian market. Throughout this period, the consultancy specialized in serving large companies - focus on the 500 largest in Brazil - and in building a portfolio of services based on in its own SOC (Security Operation Center), the Safeway Security Tower.
“Throughout this period, we managed to build a very interesting customer portfolio, always focusing on innovative solutions”, says Safeway chairman Umberto Rosti. It is not by chance that the consulting services are present today in more than 30 of the 100 largest companies in Brazil and throughout the national territory.
Much of this success is due to the solutions portfolio built by Safeway throughout its history. Today the consultancy has more than 23 partnerships with international manufacturers, always among the best positioned in the Gartner quadrants. It is these partnerships that guarantee the offer of the one-stop-shopping concept to the market when it comes to security solutions.
At the other end, Safeway has been investing in training its employees and, mainly, in creating an increasingly welcoming and collaborative work environment. “This year we received the GPTW seal, which certifies us as a good place to work and this, in the view of our employees”Celebrates Rosti.
Despite all the critical scenario experienced in 2020, Rosti bets on the growth of Safeway. He recalls that, even with the pandemic, new growth opportunities have opened up. “Security has always been important, but the context this year has made it even more of a priority ”, this brought new projects and our forecast is to grow more than 70% compared to last year ”, he predicts.
Part of this result is also due to the improvement of the consultancy's SOC (Security Operation Center), which this year was ranked among the 250 best in the world by MSSP Alert, and obtaining ISO 27001 certification for its operation. “We are putting all of our solutions in our SOC and offering them as a service. It is in this movement that we are betting our growth and where our services are most valuable ”, explains.
Rosti points out that Safeway will continue to invest in growth stocks, following the dynamics of the cybersecurity market. “The sector has grown rapidly and has been leveraged by the digitalization of the economy, the entry into force of the LGPD and the new regulations in the financial market. We are preparing to continue following this evolution ”, he concludes.
