Query lets you find out if the Facebook user's personal data has been shared with the company that helped with Trump's campaign.

Facebook started to notify this Monday the users who had improperly shared data with consultancy Cambridge Analytica. The alert is being distributed gradually to the 87 million people affected. By making this query, Facebook notifies you if the user had their data shared with the consultant after using the app This Is Your Digital Life. The amount of data obtained by Cambridge Analytica reached the millions because every time a member of the social network made use of the app, his friends also had personal information shared.

Those affected will be instructed to change application settings, according to The Verge. Still according to the post, Facebook will not show users the identity of the friend who used This Is Your Digital Life.

In Brazil, over 443,000 social network users had shared data with the consultancy, which helped in the election of Donald Trump to the presidency of United States.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg will join three congressional committees today to answer questions about the protection of his users' data. The first hearing will be at the House of Representatives Energy and Trade Committee, which released draft of Zuckerberg's testimony.
